I've been drawing for as long as I can remember, but only started drawing on a regular basis in 2007 when I started teaching myself. Having lived in Turkey until the age of 13, I wasn't presented with any opportunities to develop my art (owing to the school system), and so it took a back seat until I moved to the UK in 2004.
After completing my A Levels, I studied illustration at Northbrook College (Worthing) under the tuition of award-winning illustrators such as Alan Baker. Having now completed my course I am looking to start my career as an illustrator while also continuing to work on projects of my own.
When I'm not drawing my time is often spent on video games or playing the piano. Aside from my training as an illustrator, I have studied philosophy, psychology, sociology, and English literature in depth. I am fluent in Turkish and took private Japanese lessons for 3 years.
